Child Care Scholarship (CCS)

Maryland’s Child Care Scholarship Program helps eligible families pay for high-quality child care and early education.

  • For eligible Maryland residents who are working, in approved training, or attending school
  • New and existing families apply through the Child Care Scholarship Family Portal
  • CCS Central 2 manages applications and family support

Working Parents Assistance (WPA)

Montgomery County’s Working Parents Assistance Program helps eligible County residents with the cost of child care while parents work or attend school.

  • For eligible Montgomery County residents
  • Parents or guardians of children from birth to age 13, or up to 19 when a child has a disability and needs care
  • Employment, school, income, and other eligibility rules apply
